This policy is issued in compliance with Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act and its implementing regulations, as well as all applicable federal, state, district, county, and local nondiscrimination laws.
This policy applies to all patients, prospective patients, visitors, employees, applicants, vendors, and anyone who interacts with our practice.
Equal Access to Care
Prostho Endo Dental Group provides dental services in a professional, welcoming environment. We are committed to making our care accessible, respectful, and understandable for all patients.
We will not discriminate in:
- Scheduling appointments
- Accepting or treating patients
- Explaining treatment options
- Providing emergency, preventive, restorative, cosmetic, endodontic, prosthodontic, or general dental care
- Discussing financial arrangements
- Communicating with patients, caregivers, or authorized representatives
- Providing access to facilities, technology, patient services, or office resources

Prostho Endo Dental Group follows all applicable federal, state, district, county, and local nondiscrimination laws, including laws applicable to patients residing in Maryland, Virginia, and the Washington, DC area. Where any applicable law provides greater protection, Prostho Endo Dental Group will follow the law that provides the greatest applicable protection.
Disability Access and Reasonable Accommodations
Prostho Endo Dental Group will make reasonable efforts to provide appropriate accommodations for individuals with disabilities. We provide reasonable modifications and appropriate auxiliary aids and services when needed so patients with disabilities can access care and communicate effectively.

Respectful Environment
All patients, visitors, and team members are expected to treat one another with respect. Prostho Endo Dental Group does not tolerate harassment, intimidation, abusive conduct, threats, or discriminatory behavior in our offices, by phone, online, by email, text message, or through any other form of communication.
We reserve the right to take appropriate action if a person's behavior threatens the safety, dignity, or well-being of patients, visitors, or team members.
Financial Discussions and Insurance
Prostho Endo Dental Group is committed to transparent communication about treatment options, fees, insurance, membership plans, and financing options.
We do not discriminate based on insurance status, source of income, or any other protected characteristic. Treatment recommendations are based on clinical needs, professional judgment, and the patient's oral health goals.
Reporting Concerns
Anyone who believes they have been treated unfairly or discriminated against may report the concern to Prostho Endo Dental Group.

Reports will be reviewed promptly and handled as confidentially as possible. Prostho Endo Dental Group prohibits retaliation against anyone who raises a concern, files a complaint, requests assistance, or participates in the review of a discrimination concern.

A person may also have the right to file a complaint with an appropriate federal, state, district, county, or local agency, including but not limited to:

Filing a concern with Prostho Endo Dental Group does not prevent a person from using any other legal or administrative process available to them.
