Prosthodontics

This area of dentistry specializes in diagnosing, treatment planning, rehabilitating, and maintaining the oral function, comfort, appearance, and health of patients with clinical conditions related to missing or deficient teeth and/or oral and maxillofacial tissues, using biocompatible substitutes.

Dental Crowns are typically used to replace a single missing tooth or to cover a tooth for aesthetic enhancement, restoring its shape, size, and strength.

A Bridge is a type of dental restoration used to replace a missing tooth, permanently joining it to adjacent teeth or dental implants. It is suitable for areas with two or more missing teeth.
Dentures, whether full or partial, are used to replace missing teeth. They can be permanent, requiring professional removal, or removable, allowing patients to easily take them out.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

Prosthodontics is a specialized branch of dentistry focused on creating replacements for missing or damaged teeth and performing full mouth reconstructions to address occlusion and chewing habits. The alignment of your teeth, known as dental occlusion, is a crucial aspect often overlooked. Sometimes, a simple occlusal adjustment can alleviate jaw pain and clicking of the jaw joint (TMJ).
If you experience symptoms such as clicking of the TMJ, pain radiating to your head, headaches, bruxism (teeth grinding), and/or flattening of teeth, we encourage you to schedule an appointment for a consultation with a prosthodontist.

At our office, we firmly believe that dental well-being is crucial for overall health. That's why our motto is “We make smiles, we change lives!”

There is no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to the shape and shade of teeth. Starting from your consultation visit, we will engage in discussions about designing shapes and shades that complement your facial profile, age, expectations, and needs. During the initial consultation visit, we collect comprehensive data for thorough treatment planning. Depending on the complexity of your case, consultation and treatment planning may span multiple visits as your treatment may involve discussion among different different dental specialists behind the scenes.

There are numerous methods for fabricating esthetic veneers and crowns. Our office prioritizes the quality of care we provide, and we believe that the finest ceramic work is achieved through the skillful craftsmanship, hand made, of a talented ceramist, rather than relying solely on printing technology. As a result, completing these procedures often requires more than one visit.
